Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney/Newman dual scheduled for tonight (Jan. 12) at the Health & Sports Center has been postponed due to the recent winter storm in the area. 

The two teams will try and find a makeup date later this season. This was to be the MIAA opener for seventh-ranked UNK (9-3).

The Lopers now open the league slate next Saturday at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds against MIAA associate member Ouachita Baptist, Ark. (pronounced wash-ih-tah). That dual begins at 10 a.m. and will be one of five on the day for UNK (three varsity, two j.v.) as part of the Younes Hospitality Duals.
 
UNK will also host NAIA power Grand View, Ia. (Feb. 2) and Central Oklahoma (Feb. 16) at Buckle Court.
