Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney softball team has seen its opening MIAA weekend pushed back by expected inclement weather.

UNK (9-8) will now play Saturday, March 9, at Northwest Missouri State (9-9) and Sunday, March 10, at Missouri Western State (10-4). On both days, games will be at 12 & 2 p.m. Originally, the Lopers were to have been in Maryville on Friday, St. Joseph on Saturday. To date, the Blue & Gold has had three games canceled due to weather.

The Lopers return to Patriot Park next week (March 13-14) to host the Mary Marauders.
