Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney football team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage on Wednesday night (Aug. 21).
 
The event, free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. and end between 8:30 and 9 p.m. The Loper roster of over 130 players will be divided into two squads and special team drills will be included in the full-contact scrimmage. Due to numbers, offensive linemen will wear Black jerseys and be able to play for both teams (Blue & White). Finally, some players will be held out due to injury. 

UNK will close fall camp on Thursday, Aug. 22, with "game week" beginning Friday as the Lopers prepare for Chadron State. That road contest kicks off Thursday, Aug. 29, at 6 p.m. Mountain/7 p.m. Central.
