UNK Cross Country in Wisconsin for NCAA Championships

Kearney, Neb. – The 16th-ranked Nebraska Kearney women's cross country team and the 31st-ranked Loper men will run in the 2025 NCAA Division II Championships Saturday (Nov. 22) in Kenosha, Wisc. NCAA Cross Logo

The forecast calls for cloudy conditions, temperatures in the mid to high 40's with winds 3-14mph. No rain or snow is expected at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course. Wisconsin-Parkside previously hosted this meet in 1997 and 1983. 

The meet begins with a women's 6k at 10 a.m. (Central) with the men running a 10 at approximately 11:15 a.m. (Central). Fan can follow along with NCAA live video and live results. For more information, go to the meet webpage

Adams (Colo.) State has won five of the last seven women's national titles while the Colorado School of Mines men have placed first in three of the last five years. In its only previous NCAA trip, the UNK women were 22nd (2022) with the men having three Top 25 finishes its last three trips (2024, 2022, and 2021). 

The Loper indoor track and field season is right around the corner, starting with the annual Blue/Gold intrasquad meet on Dec. 5.
