Kearney, Neb. – The schedule for the Nebraska Kearney softball team has changed for a second time this week due to the weather in the Midwest.

UNK (4-4) is taking part in the "Turf's Up Classic" in Branson, Mo. The tournament was originally scheduled for Fri./Sat (Feb. 21-22) but pushed back a full day earlier this week. Additionally, opponents were changed for multiple teams.

The tourney is now being moved to a Mon./Tues (Feb. 24-25) format with the Lopers having new opponents again. UNK will still play Southwest Baptist (Feb. 25/1 p.m.) and NAIA Cottey College, Mo. (Feb. 24/1:30 p.m.) per the second schedule but now get Ecclesia College (Feb. 24/11:30 a.m.) and Crowley's Ridge College (Feb. 25/11 a.m.). They are both Arkansas-based schools and NAIA members. 

The Lopers will get very familiar with Branson as they are in the "Showtime Classic" next weekend (Feb. 28-Mar. 1).
