Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney men's basketball program will hold its first annual alumni reunion and historical fundraising celebration. 

The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, prior to the Lopers football game vs. Chadron State (7 p.m.). The day includes shooting games in the morning (9-11 a.m.) at the Health & Sports Center, a luncheon that will include UNK men's basketball greats talking about the history of the program (12-2 p.m.), honoring the 1971-72 squad and a tail gate prior to the football game (3-6 p.m.). The shooting games will include current UNK players and staff with the '72 squad being the second-ever to reach the NAIA National Tournament. 

Cost is $54 per person or a table of eight is $525 (fees included). This includes a meal with the luncheon held at Kearney's Holiday Inn. Fans and alumni can sign up online by going to the men's basketball camp site with all proceeds benefiting the program.
