No Alcohol to be Served at Home Opener

Kearney, Neb. - Due to unforeseen issues with vendor insurance relative to university requirements, alcohol will not be served at Saturday's Nebraska Kearney football game with Chadron State. 

The game kicks off at 7 p.m. at Ron & Carol Cope Stadium/Foster Field. 

UNK and Loper Athletics are working with the vendor to ensure compliance with requirements to allow alcohol sales at future games at Cope. This fall, the Lopers are also home on Sept. 20, Oct. 11 (Homecoming), Nov. 1 and Nov. 15.
