Batsuuri to Represent UNK at All-Star Classic at Penn State

Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska Kearney senior Otgonbayar "Augie" Batsuuri will compete in the 2026 NWCA All-Star Classic in State College, Pa., next month.

The event, presented by Nike, takes place on Nov. 24 (Tues.) at Penn State's Rec Hall. It showcases 20 of the nation's top Division I wrestlers, pits a returning Division II national champion vs. a returning Division III national champ and highlights four women's matches. The complete lineup is below. Loper legend and
heavyweight Tervel Dlagev wrestled in a similar event 20 years ago.

Batsuuri (Mongolia) won the 2026 174-pound national title in March with a 7-3 decision over No. 1 ranked Hunter Jump of Central Oklahoma. He finished the year 21-7 and was the Super Region IV champ as well. Wisconsin-LaCrosse's Tanner Gerber will be the competition in State College; the true junior is the 2026 165-pound D3 national champ but is moving up a weight class this season.
