UNK is 1-0-2 in its last three meetings with its rival but had to comeback tonight. Freshman Grace Prescott got free on the right wing and found junior Berkley Sparks in the box for her fourth goal of the fall in the 19th minute. Just 10 minutes later the Lopers answered when freshman Bella Spadavecchia (Greenville, S.C.) found junior Billie Forrest (Taylorsville, Utah) open in the center of the field. She used her left foot from about 10 yards out to record her first goal of 2026. This was Spadavecchia's team-leading fifth assist.

UNK out shot FHSU by one, 14-13, with the visitors having one more corner, 2-1. Both teams had chances to score over the final 60 minutes but keepers Susie Bovaird (eight) and Katie Stoskopf (seven) combining for 15 saves. Finally, this 2026 Loper squad was a veteran bunch, featuring three fifth year players and nine fourth year seniors.

The Blue & Gold will go through winter workouts next with spring ball beginning in March 2027.
