Football Signing Day this Wednesday

Keanrey, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney football team will announce the names of 30 plus high school seniors on NCAA Division II signing day (Feb. 4).

Head coach Ryan Held and his staff have put together a recruiting class that includes players from Nebraska and eight other U.S. states. As their paperwork comes in on Wednesday morning and is certified, names will appear below. 2026 NSD Graphic

On Feb. 12 (Wed.) at Fanatics, the Loper Gridiron club is hosting a Signing Day Social event. Fans are invited to come down at 6 p.m. and listen to Coach Held talk about the incoming class.

The Lopers are currently going through winter workouts and begin "Spring Ball" in mid-March. Fall camp begins Aug. 3 with the 2026 opener set for Aug. 27 (Thurs.) at home vs. Wayne State.
