Kearney, Neb. – Freshman Pella Broms has been named to the 2026 All-Central Region team by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

The WGCA began naming all-region squads (eight regions in Division II) in the spring of 2009. Sara Wissing (2010) is the only other Loper to have received the honor. Pella Broms

Broms (Linköping, Sweden) led UNK with a 76.11 season stroke average this past season which covered 18 rounds. Missing five tournaments due to injury, her stroke average ranks third best in school history. The second team All-MIAA selection managed six rounds between 70-74 with season-best of 70 coming in her only fall tournament (second round). Finally, Broms tied for 15th at MIAA's and 29th at the Central Regionals.

In 2025-26, UNK won five tournaments, including the MIAA Championships, and reached the NCAA Championships for the second time in program history. Broms is one of several starters returning to the team this September.
