Kearney, Neb. - The annual UNK High School Cross Country Invitational will be held on Monday (Sept. 28) at the Kearney Country Club.

The meet allows teams from around Nebraska a chance to run the state championship course; over 2,000 runners are expected to take part. This year's state meet is set for Friday, Oct. 23.

Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens (13 & under free). All proceeds go to benefit UNK cross country and track. Tickets can be purchased online (https://www.etix.com/ticket/p/58526072/unk-cross-country-unk-high-school-invitational-kearney-unk-athletics) and at the course on Monday but no cash will be taken (credit card only).
