Second-team All-RMAC as a catcher ... shared starting duties with senior Felix Segovia ... also played DH ... in 46 games (43 starts), batted . 312 with 13 doubles and 34 RBI's ... scored 35 runs and drew 11 walks ... batted cleanup or in the sixth and eighth spots... .971 fielding percentage with 26 assists ... threw out eight would-be base stealers ... 15 multi-hit games ... second most multi-RBI games (12) on the team ... swung a hot bat in mid-March ... 10-game hit streak started March 6 and ended March 25 ... had two, three-hit efforts during the streak ... later, from April 2-8, had four straight games with two or more RBI's

AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
Named RMAC Co-Freshman of the Year ... played in 25 games with 22 starts ... made 20 starts behind the plate and two at DH ... mainly batted in the eight hole ... finished at .288 with 16 RBI's and 12 runs ... also had five doubles and a triple ... in the field, .971 fielding percentage and threw out five potential base stealers ... four multi-hit games and five mutli-RBI efforts ... in the second game of a double dip vs. Colorado Christian on March 21, went 3 for 6 with three RBI's and three runs ... later in the year, went 2 for 4 against both Hastings and Colorado Mines ... had three assists April 9 vs. Metro State ... in the summer of 2010, played on the Kearney Runza Seniors Legion team (46-8) that advanced to the Central Plains Regional Tournament

Played football and basketball for the Bearcats ... played in Kearney's American Legion program during the summers ... part of Class A state championship football team in 2006 ... had 10 catches for 100 yards and 50 tackles that fall
