At UNK: Selected to second team Academic ALL-RMAC, second team All-RMAC, RMAC  All-tournament team and was MVP of the UNK Fall Classic in 2007... 2008, 146 kills, 56 digs and 29 total blocks and missed half the year due to injury... 2007, 458 kills, 165 digs and 51 total blocks... 2006 missed the first month of season with an injury 206 kills, 23 serve aces, and 143 digs

High School: Lead Gross Catholic to 2005 Class B volleyball state champions... was selected to all-state team in 2003 and two time all-conference team... Burson received letters in volleyball four years and was three time letter winner in basketball and track

Personal: Daughter of Larry & Mary Jo  ... bother Luke played football at Doane College
