At UNK: During the 2009 indoor season, 1st-team All-RMAC in the shot (46-0.50; 7th best throw in school history) ...  placed 11th at the NCAA meet ...1st-team All-RMAC again in the shot during the outdoor campaign (44-9.50) ... finished 18th at the NCAA Championships ...   in 2007-08, joined the Lopers as a walk-on ... qualified for the NCAA outdoor meet thanks to a personal best throw of 45-7.25 in the shot (ranks 7th in school history) ... also won the RMAC title in the shot

Prior to UNK: Played two years of basketball at Mid-Plains C.C. in North Platte

High School: Was runner up at the Class B state meet in the shot put
