AS A FRESHMAN (2011)
Only true freshman to play ... one of the Lopers top starting pitchers ...finished 2-5 with an 8.00 ERA ... made 12 appearances with 10 starts and one complete game ... struck out 19 in 45.0 innings ... beat Mesa State on April 10th by tossing a eight-hit complete game (9.0 IP) ... fanned three ... ended the year with a season-best four K's vs. N.M. Highlands in RMAC's ... also won games at Colorado Christian (5.0 IP) and at CSU-Pueblo (4.1 IP)

HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball  ... helped baseball team win a district title in 2010 and reach the final four of the state tourney in 2009 ... as a senior, batted .338 with 15 RBI's and an on-base percentage of .463 ... on the mound, went 7-1 as he struck out 42 in 40 innings with a 2.98 ERA ... first-team all-area and first-team all-league ... also Academic All-State ... a year earlier, batted .349 with 25 RBI's and a .488 OBP ... struck out nine in nine innings ... honorable mention all-league
