At UNK: In 2010, played in 15 games with three starts ... all three starts came at second base ... on March 21, went 2 for 3 with two runs and an RBI vs. Colorado Christian

Prior to UNK: Played two years at Otero J.C. (La Junta, Colo.) ... batted over .300 as a freshman ... as a sophomore, named 2nd-team all-region ... won  “Rising Star” award from the Colorado Community College State Student Advisory Council  in April 2008

High School: Earned four football letters and was a two-year letterwinner in baseball at Denver Christian ... also played on the basketball team ... named schools Most Outstanding Senior Athlete ... MVP of the baseball team in 2007 and MVP of the football squad a year earlier (played QB) ... helped football team win the Class 2A 2004 state title

Personal: Son of Keith & Maureen ... brother, Tyler, played college baseball at Evangel U. in Springfield, Mo.
