Lyndsay Olson will serve as a student assistant coach for the Nebraska-Kearney cheerleading program for the 2022-23 season.
A one-year member of the Loper Cheer Team, Olson played a crucial role in the inaugural season for stunting within the program. She was a base and tumbler for the Lopers, before suffering a career-ending injury. Olson also served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
Prior to her career at UNK, she was a competitive cheerleader at Cheer Express for 14 years, and was a 2020-21 All-American while attending Lincoln Pius X High School.
Olson is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Biology on the Pre-Med track.
