Corey Hoelck

Corey Hoelck, one of UNK's top offensive lineman in the NCAA Division II era (1990-present), serves as an assistant offensive line coach during the fall. Coach Hoelck

The Giltner native runs the Hoelck Skills Academy, a football training organization specializing in offensive line play. It provides personalized training programs for each athlete's growth. Based in Kearney, the company travels throughout the Midwest to offer small group training, team camps, and youth camps in local communities. 

Holding undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNK, Hoelck starred at right tackle for the program between 2016-21. He was a two-time All-MIAA selection, earning first-team honors as a senior. He was named an h.m. All-American in 2021 by Don Hansen's Football Gazette and also was a second-team All-Region pick by the Division II Conference Commissioners' Association. Hoelck was part of teams that reached the post season in both 2019 (Mineral Water Bowl) and 2021 (NCAA Playoffs 2nd round). 

After college, he played professionally for three seaons in the CFL and USFL. Hoelck resides in Kearney with his wife, Morgan.
