As a senior for the Cowboys, h.m. Class C-1 all-state ... helped Boys Town go 9-2 and win a state playoff game for the first time in seven years ... was at linebacker and tight end ... 42 tackles (29 solo) to rank third on the team ... one sack ... three INT's for 102 return yards and one touchdown ... also five catches for 68 yards and two scores ... was also on the basketball team and was a thrower for the track squad during the spring ... attended Milford Mill Academy in his native Baltimore as an underclassmen
