Dalton Gleason joined the Nebraska-Kearney Sports Performance staff in August 2020. The graduate assistant will work with the Loper track and field, swimming and diving, and football teams.Â
The Kearney native most recently was with Husker Power. He started as a intern in 2017 and worked with Nebraska's Olympic sports. He then moved over to help the football team for two years, serving as a strength and conditioning intern under head coach Zach Duval.Â
Most recently he was an intern/coach at Prentiss Human Performance in Stamford, Conn. There he got a chance to work with NHL, NFL, NCAA and Olympic athletes.Â
Gleason is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Exercise, & Health Science from UNL in 2018. He is currently working on a Master’s degree in Sports Administration.
