Quinton Harley joined Nebraska-Kearney track & field in the summer of 2016 and serves as a graduate assistant coach. 

The New York native and Division I and Division II All-American will coach the Loper sprinters and hurdlers. 

In 2015-16, Harley coached the same events for Division III Adrian College in Michigan. While there, he helped Rachel Dolphin to a women's indoor track & field MIAA () MVP as well as the women's outdoor track & field MIAA Most Outstanding Runner award.

He also was instrumental in the development of freshman Jordan Davis, who was honored as the men's outdoor MIAA Most Outstanding Runner.

At the same time, Harley worked as a track & field coach at CoachUp in New Orleans. He previously coached at NAIA Xavier University in New Orleans and at his alma mater, East Carolina. 

Harley was a two-year letterwinner at ECU, finishing his career as a two-time regional qualifier in the men's 400 hurdles. A Conference USA champion and an honorable mention All-American in the 400 hurdles, he also was an NCAA Championship participant and a member of a conference champion 4x1 relay team. 

Prior to ECU, Harley was a two-year letterwinner at Lake Erie (Ohio) College where he earned Division II All-American status in 2011 in the men's 400 hurdles as well as the 4x400-meter relays. 

A native of Rochester, N.Y., he lettered in both track and football at Rochester High where he was a five-time All-America selection.

Harley graduated from ECU with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management.
