Micah Stall joined the Nebraska-Kearney sports medicine department in the summer of 2020. The Gibbon native will work as the primary Athletic Trainer for Loper volleyball and softball while assisting other sports as well.
 
Earning a B.S. degree in Athletic Training from UNK in 2017, Stall went onto earn a Master’s in Wellness Management (Exercise Science) from MIAA-member Central Oklahoma. During her time in Edmond she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Stall primarily worked with the Bronchos softball, women’s soccer and women’s rowing teams. All three programs were nationally-ranked in NCAA Division II with Bronchos winning national titles in rowing (2018 and 2019) and softball hosting the MIAA Tournament, NCAA Regional and NCAA Super Regional in 2019. Stall served as the Head Athletic Trainer for each event while also working the 2018 NCAA Division III softball championships.
 
Outside of on the field activity Stall assisted in insurance and student-athlete documentation, supervised graduate athletic training program students, and contributed to the day-to-day operations of the training room.
 
A Certified Athletic Trainer and a MIAA Trainers’ Association Member, she also worked with the University of Oklahoma Club Hockey team, the International Finals Rodeo, UNK volleyball and basketball summer camps and UCO summer camps. As an undergraduate student Stall was the primary student Athletic Trainer for Loper football in 2015 and assisted with other fall and spring sports.
