Agnes Back is a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Nebraska-Kearney women’s soccer team. Agnes began her duties in July 2024.

Back is from Sweden and has been a part of the women’s soccer team at NAIA University of Mobile in Mobile, Ala., for 1.5 years. She spent the last two years as part of the DIII school North Park University (Ill.), in which she holds and B.S. degree in Business Administration.

As a player at North Park, Back received the CCIW Respect Award due to her leadership skills, enthusiasm and positive and encouraging mindset. She was one of four Vikings to start in all 16 games as a defender both seasons, and she logged the most playing time (1,437 minutes) on the field in her second season. In her first season at NPU, Back was at defender and scored four goals, in which one of them was a game-winner. Bach also participated when North Park made history in their win against Wheaton (Ill.) University.

“I am very excited and grateful for the opportunity that I am able to serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach for UNK women’s soccer team with lead and guidance from Head Coach Rob and Assistant Coach Tony. There is a clear plan, great mentality and vision that will help the program strive, and I am excited to help and be a part of the growth and development. I believe this season will be something special and I can’t wait to help the girls be at their best," said Back.
