A former Loper defensive specialist and libero, Kaleigh Zoucha moved to the coaching bench in the spring of 2013 and serves as the Lopers top assistant coach.

After being a graduate assistant for three seasons, the Lincoln native was promoted to full-time status in the winter of 2015.

Over the past five seasons, the Lopers have gone a combined 152-24, reached five NCAA Tournaments and finished eighth, fifth, 15th, fifth and ninth in the final AVCA national poll.

"Kaleigh was a natural fit to fill our first assistant position. She has grown immensely as a coach in her three seasons in the GA role and I look forward to her continued impact on Loper Volleyball," said UNK head coach Rick Squiers.

Zoucha is one of only 30 UNK players to have reached 1,000 career digs, currently 26th on the list with 1,042.

Over her career, she played in four NCAA Tournaments and helped the Lopers win four regular season conference titles. As a UNK assistant coach, she's been a part of three more regular season crowns and two tourney titles.

A Lincoln Southwest High graduate, she comes from a coaching family as her father, Mike Anderson, served as head baseball coach at Nebraska-Lincoln and most recently was an assistant at Oklahoma. Her younger brother, Taylor, currently serves as an assistant baseball coach at UNK.

In the summer of 2016, she married former Loper football player Kalvin Zoucha. They live in Kearney and welcomed daughter, Annie, in April 2017.
