High School: Went 110-11 for Lewis & Clark High ... three top three finishes at the Washington state tournament ... one state title (140 lbs.) ... placed fifth at senior nationals

At Northwest College (Torrington, Wyo.): Placed 6th, twice, at the junior college national tournament  for the Trappers... repeated as an All-American despite battling a serious knee injury prior to the 2008-09 season ... as a sophomore, picked up the Christopher Brooks Apodaca Memorial Award for Leadership & Excellence
