A senior from Missouri Valley, Iowa, Jensen was the lone Loper to place first in his class (Elite Division) at the 1st Annual UNK Holiday Inn Open.

Ranked second nationally at 141 lbs., Jensen improved to 8-1 on the year by going 4-0 in the tournament with two falls.

In the finals, he edged Nebraska's Jake Sueflohn, 7-5 in sudden victory.
