Sanabria (Minden) made a long trip to California worthwhile as he broke the 10,000 meter school record at the prestigious Mt. Sac Relays.

His time of 29:39.38 placed him second in a field of 25 and ahead of several Division I runners, including ones from Michigan, Georgia and Rice.

He also beat runners from RMAC rivals Adams State and Western State. Click HERE to watch the race.

This week, Sanabria's time ranks 10th on the Division II national list. Of the 23 top times this year in the 10,000, 15 were run at Mt. Sac.
