Kozeal became UNK’s all-time leader in tackles (now 316) after having 14 in a 36-24 loss at Central Oklahoma. Inside linebacker Kellen Werner held the previous record (316), set between 2010-13.

Kozeal already has 72 tackles through five games (14.4 avg.), a total should help him break his own single season tackle record of 136.
