Volleyball Cruises Past Rangers

Kearney, Neb. - The 5th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team had 51 kills and never trailed in a sweep of Regis (-15, -15, -15) Saturday afternoon at the Health & Sports Center.

UNK (24-1, 14-0 RMAC) wins an 18th straight match and beats the Rangers (12-10, 10-4 RMAC) for the 22nd time in a row, dating back to 1999.

Moment of the Match
Thanks to some strong serving, UNK got out to big early leads in each set and that allowed the Lopers to never trail the entire day.

UNK's 51 kills were almost triple Regis' total of 19. The Lopers also out hit the Rangers, the 2008 RMAC Tourney champs, .297 to .040
