Kearney, Neb. - The 9th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney wrestling team won seven matches to beat Colorado State-Pueblo,
28-9, Wednesday afternoon in Pueblo.
The day isn't done for the Lopers (14-6, 5-0 RMAC). UNK will wrestle at No. 16 Adams State tonight (8:00 p.m. Central) in Alamosa, Colo., and then dual New Mexico Highlands Thursday.
Against the second-year Thunderwolves, UNK got off on the right foot when Imperial senior
Taylor May notched a 5-3 win at 165 lbs. Top-ranked Marty Usman (Arlington, Texas) then gave the blue and gold a 7-0 lead with his 14th major decision of the year in the next match.
