Kearney, Neb. - The 9th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney wrestling team finished up a very busy stretch with a
34-9 win at New Mexico Highlands Thursday night.
UNK is now 16-6 on the year and a perfect 7-0 in the RMAC.

Danny Luttrell (Arlington, Texas), 8-1, at 125 lbs. Luttrell, with 19 wins on the season, has faced the top three wrestlers in his class over the last two weeks.
UNK would blank HU in the next two classes as senior
Joey Morrison (Lincoln East) won 8-0 at 133 lbs. and junior
Tyler Baker (Hoxie, Kans.) shut out Dan Perales, 3-0.
Fourth-ranked
T.J. Hepburn (East Hampton, Conn.) then kept the Lopers going with a fall at 4:04. Later, No. 1 ranked Marty Usman (2:19) and sophomore
Justin McKain (6:52) recorded falls as well.
Finally, junior heavyweight
Ben Hohensee (Monet, Mo.) was nipped by veteran Jesse Boggs, 3-1, in overtime.
UNK finishes up its dual season next Wednesday in Kansas with battles against 15th-ranked Fort Hays State and 20th-ranked Grand Canyon (Ariz.).
