Kelsey Werner combined for 21 kills to lead the 12th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team to a quick sweep of Colorado State-Pueblo

The Lopers (9-2) needed just an hour to win its 28th straight RMAC regular season match, dating back to October 2008. Pueblo, mean while, falls to 3-5 (0-2 RMAC) on the young season.
For a second straight night, UNK held its opponent to a negative hitting percentage. Pueblo, with 23 kills and 26 errors in 93 total swings, hit -.032. Some of those errors were a result of nine Loper team blocks.
UNK, with seven players hitting .300 or more, was at a season-best .462 percentage (41-5-78). Walkowiak (Grand Island) had 11 kills in her first 13 swings and ended the ngiht at a .625 efficiency. She also had a team-best five blocks.
Werner (Grand Island) also hit .625 as she had 10 kills and zero errors in 16 attempts. Not to be outdone, Omaha freshman middle
Ellie Pesavento had seven kills, four blocks and came in at a .538 clip.

Katlyn Heiserman (Manchester, Iowa) had 13 digs with senior setter
Cola Svec (Elkhorn) have 31 assists, 10 digs and two blocks.
