Kearney, Neb. – The 11th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney wrestling team picked up three wins at the Central Missouri Dual Jamboree Sunday afternoon in Warrensburg Mo., against nationally-ranked Wisconsin-Parkside, 
23-14, Central Missouri, 
22-18, and Indianapolis, 
28-9. 
The Lopers improve to 10-2 on the season.  
Wisconsin-Parkside Dual:
UNK now holds a 6-1 series lead against the UWP Rangers. Parkside, currently ranked 16th, beat the Lopers last year at the National Duals. 
The Lopers and the Rangers split the first five weight classes, giving the Lopers a 14-7 lead after the 157 pound weight class. Nationally-ranked sophomore 
Josh Smith (Houston, Texas), at 125 lbs., and junior 
Dalton Jensen (Missouri Valley, Ia.), at 141 lbs.  won by a major decision and fall to score the bonus points. 
Defending national runner-up Luke Rynish, ranked No. 1 at 174 lbs., earned a major decision over sophomore 
Drew Comito (Spokane, Wash.), 15-7, to tie the dual at 14.
UNK used three decisions from 184-285 lbs., by a a combined 10 points, to pull out the dual win. 
Central Missouri Dual: 
The Lopers faced the host Mules in the second dual of the jamboree. UNK has now won the last nine duals with UCM to lead the all time series, 18-5. 
After UNK got a forfeit win at 125 lbs., Central Missouri tied the dual at six on a pin by veteran Cody Gillenwater at 133 lbs.   Marcus Walker then upset the sixth-ranked Jensen, 7-5, at 141 lbs. to give the Mules a brief dual lead. 
The Lopers trailed 12-6 after dropping a decision at 149 lbs. but won four of the next five matches to move ahead 22-15. 
Sophomore 
Islam Abitov (Osh, Kyrgyzstan/Kearney H.S.) recorded a fall at 157 lbs., 5th-ranked 
Joey Wilson (Half Moon Bay, Calif.) majored Todd Brier, 14-4, at 165 lbs. and sophomore 
Ross Brunkhardt (Merino, Colo.) and 
Nick Bauman (Brighton, Colo.) each won by decision at 174 and 184 lbs., respectively. 
Heavyweight Brandon Hayes picked up a 3-1 decision win, in the second sudden victory period, at 285 lbs. to nip fourth-ranked 
Ben Hohensee (Monett, Mo.). 
Indianapolis Dual: 
In the final dual of the day, the Lopers won eight of the 10 matches against the Greyhounds.  This was the first dual against UI in the 
Marc Bauer era (1999-present).
After splitting at the first four weights, UNK won six straight decisions to break a nine all tie. Highlights included a sudden victory win by Jensen and a 3-2 win by Brunkhardt. 
The Lopers host No. 5 Central Oklahoma Thursday.
