Kearney, Neb. - The fifth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney wrestling team won seven of the last eight matches to beat Colorado State-Pueblo, 25-10, Thursday in Colorado.

Sophomore
Tim Crocker (Kearney H.S.) started the Loper run with a 7-1 decision at 141 lbs. and then junior
Raufeon Stots (Houston, Texas) and senior
T.J. Hepburn (East Hampton, Conn.) followed with a tech fall and major decision to make it a 12-7 Kearney lead.
In the upper weights, redshirt freshman
Matt Lenagh (Millard North) majored Cody Johnson, 9-0, at 197 lbs. and senior
Ross Brunkhardt, a Colorado native, upset seventh-ranked Adam Carey, 3-1 in the second sudden victory period.
For the first time since early December, UNK will be at home, starting next Saturday. The Lopers will host the Chadron State Eagles at 3:00 p.m. in Cushing Coliseum on February 4th. That match time was bumped up several hours due to home basketball.
The following weekend, Colorado Mesa and Western State will come to the Health & Sports Center.
