Box Score 2 Kearney, Neb. – The Fort Lewis College Skyhawks had 23 hits, including four home runs, to sweep a double header from Nebraska-Kearney, 11-2 (5 innings) and 5-3, Sunday afternoon at Dryden Park.
This was the regular season finale for both teams.
UNK (24-23, 21-15 RMAC), which had an outside chance to win the RMAC regular season title, sees a four-game win streak come to an end. Prior to today, the Lopers had won 16 of its last 18 conference games.
The Skyhawks improve to 26-23 (24-16 RMAC) and move ahead of UNK in the final league standings. The pairings for next weekend's eight-team RMAC Tournament will come out tonight with the Lopers being anywhere from a three to six seed.

Becky Dunn (Papillion) allowed no earned runs over the first 6.1 innings in today's second game.
Down 2-1 with one down in the seventh, Fort Lewis stayed alive with a single to center and a Loper error. That brought up right fielder Kaylynn Harmon, who belted her sixth homer of the season for a stunning 4-2 'Hawk lead.
Kassie Haubert (11-6) went the distance for Fort Lewis, allowing two earned on eight hits and a walk. Fanning 10, she gave up a two-out solo homer to freshman shortstop

Dani Mowinkel (Hooper) each had two hits in the setback.
Fort Lewis struck early and often in game one, leading 10-0 after 2.1 innings. Cleanup hitter and first baseman Stephanie Janes went 4 for 4 with two runs and five RBI's as she hit her ninth and 10th homers of the season.
Not to be out done, her sister, Natalie Janes, went 2 for 3 and led off the fourth with her eighth long ball of the season. Natalie also went 3 for 4 in the nightcap.
UNK had six hits off of Alexis Villegas (6-8) with senior RF
Allie Frost (Valley) and Mowinkel hitting back-to-back homers in the third.
