Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney women's tennis team easily beat William Jewell, 7-2, Friday in Grand Island.

The Lopers are now 7-0 on the season.

UNK led 2-1 after doubles as senior Kristin Weems (Arlington, Texas) and junior Paula Jimenez (Spain) managed an 8-6 win the second spot. In singles, the Lopers rolled with Papillion freshman Emma Neil wining her match 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth position.

Kearney is now off for the next two weeks.
