Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska-Kearney will host the 2017 MIAA Tennis Championships this week at the Dillon Tennis Center in Lincoln.

The event, running from April 18-20 (Tues.-Thurs.), features eight women's and four men's teams. The winners of each receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships. The single-elimination tourney gets underway Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude Thursday afternoon.

Live results will be available throughout the week. 

The Loper women (12-10) are the fourth seed in the tourney and will face fifth-seed Northwest Missouri State Tuesday at six. Earlier this year at Harmon Park, NW rallied for a 5-4 win over UNK.
