Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska-Kearney head women's soccer coach Chloe Roberts announced today that Wichita native Cammie Davis will play for the Lopers next season. Cammie Davis

The 5-6 forward becomes the 15th member of the 2019 recruiting class. Thirteen came aboard back in November with a keeper joining earlier this month. UNK had nine seniors on its 19-player 2018 roster.

"Cammie is an excellent addition to the team. She is a creative attacking player who will prove to be a real threat in the final third. Cammie has a real eye for goal and someone who I see coming in and scoring many goals," said Roberts.

At Wichita Maize High School, Davis will be a four-year soccer letterwinner and serves as team co-captain. Tallying 12 goals and 15 assists (39 points) last spring, she has helped guide the Eagles to three third place finishes at the state tourney as well as regional and division titles. Finally, Davis has been named "Most Inspirational Player" on her team and tabbed honorable mention all-conference.

The Lopers went 5-12-1 (3-7-1) this past season, finishing 10th in the MIAA. UNK is currently going through winter workouts and begins spring ball next month.
