Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska-Kearney women's tennis has earned national team and individual academic awards from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

To qualify for the "All-Academic Team", a program must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA for the 2020-21 academic year with all players on the roster counting towards the total. For this past year, UNK came in with a stellar 3.8195. 

To qualify for the "Scholar-Athlete Award", a player must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA for the current academic year. Nine of the Lopers 10 qualified with the one non-qualifier just missing the cut.

UNK begins its fall season this September with the spring season starting in February 2023.
