Kearney, Neb. – Sophomore Daniella Iaquinta scored twice, and sophomore Billie Forrest added another goal as Nebraska Kearney shut out Western Colorado, 3-0, Sunday in Gunnison.

The Lopers improve to 2-3-0 while the Mountaineers drop to 0-7-0. This was UNK's last non-conference game of the fall.

Iaquinta (Aurora, Colo.) scored in the 13th and 74th minutes with Forrest (Taylorsville, Utah) finding pay dirt just three minutes into the action. Iaquinta now has six career goals with Forrest at two.

Forrest had an assist on Iaquinta's first goal with sophomore Reegen McKee (Fruita, Colo.) aiding on the second. Forrest went low to the left to score with Iaquinta twice going high left.

Western got off 17 shots but just three were on goal and sophomore keeper Susie Bovaird (Lincoln) stopped each. UNK had all seven corners in the contest and was credited with nine shots, six on net. Iaquinta had four of those with five other Lopers getting off at least one shot. Finally, senior Gracie Perez (Kearney) and redshirt junior Rachel Warrick (Lincoln) came off the injured list and saw their first action of 2025.

UNK hosts Pittsburg State (5-1-0) and Missouri Southern (2-3-1) next weekend at Foster Field.
