One of four Lopers to place first at the Super Region 4 championships in Chadron, Nelson rolled to the 165 lbs. title by recording two falls early in the second period, a tech fall and a 13-2 major decision.

He is now 27-3 on the year, including a 18-1 mark vs. D2 competition.
