Kearney, Neb. – The 8th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team hit the road this weekend and made quick work of both Colorado School of Mines (-16, -11, -15) and Chadron State (-14, -13, -17).
The Lopers (13-1, 4-0 RMAC) will stay on the road this weekend when they have key matches at East Division rivals Regis and nationally-ranked Metro State.
On Friday against a Mines (10-4, 2-2 RMAC) team that beat Metro earlier this year, UNK got 14 kills from junior outside

Nikki Scott was also tough on the Orediggers, recording nine kills in 15 swings (.600 attack percentage).
Not only did the Lopers hit .316 on the night but they held Mines to a negative .010 hitting efficiency. Carson led the way at the net with four blocks while Iowa junior
Katlyn Heiserman had a team-best 15 digs.
UNK then recorded its 50th straight win over Chadron State (0-10, 0-4 RMAC), dating back to 1983, on Saturday night. The Lopers hit .235 and held the Eagles to a negative .022 hitting percentage.

Offensively, four different UNK players recorded five kills, led by Carson with nine and Scott with six. Off the bench, Holdrege redshirt freshman
