Kearney, Neb. – The 8th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team needed just over an hour to beat Colorado State-Pueblo (-11, -8, -21) Thursday night at the Health & Sports Center.
Playing the first of three matches in three days, the Lopers improve to 16-1 (7-0 RMAC) while the ThunderWolves fall to 5-11 (2-5 RMAC).

Erica Burson (Gross Catholic) had a team-high nine kills and hit .500 in two sets played. Fellow outside
Chelsie Carson (Elkhorn) added eight kills with six other Lopers providing three kills or more. Defensively, senior
Kelli Wemhoff (Humphrey) had a team-high nine digs.
UNK had 18 more kills then Pueblo, 41-23, with nearly half of the T-Wolves total coming in the third set. For the night, CSUP hit just a .011 clip.
Adams State visits tomorrow night and then Western State comes to town on Saturday.
