Home Dual with Metro Moved to Denver; Busy Week Ahead

Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney/Metro State tennis dual scheduled for this Thursday at Harmon Park has been moved to April 7th in Denver.

The switch is due to the Lopers road trip this week to Texas and Oklahoma.

UNK plays at Dallas Baptist Tuesday and then is at Southeastern Oklahoma State on Wednesday. On Monday, UNK was at Collin Community College (Texas) where the women won, and the men lost, by identical 7-2 scores.

Because the dual was against a junior college, the results will not count towards UNK's team and individual records. Last spring, the Collin men won the JUCO national title.

This weekend, UNK hosts Minnesota State (Friday/9:00 a.m.), St. Cloud State (Saturday/9:00 a.m.) and Rockhurst (Sunday/11:00 a.m.). All three duals will be played at Harmon if the weather is nice. In case of inclement weather, they will be moved indoors to Buffalo County Fairgrounds.
