Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney men's golf team shot a 54-hole score of 910 to finish seventh at the DQ Wolf Pack Invitational Tuesday in Pueblo, Colo.

The 10-team tournament was played at the par 72 Walking Stick G.C. Due to weather, the second round wasn't completed until Tuesday morning.

UNK had efforts of 305, 301 and 304 to come in ahead of Trinidad State J.C. (917), Mesa State (924) and Adams State (989). Fort Lewis paced the field with an impressive 868 with tournament host Colorado State-Pueblo (875) second and nationally-ranked Colorado-Colorado Springs (876) third.

Pueblo's Scott Wyers, playing as an individual, earned medalist honors with a solid five under par 211 (65-72-74). Over the two days, he carded 14 birdies and two eagles.

For UNK, Kearney senior Alex Farrell led the way with a 223 (75-72-76), good for a 16th place tie. Just 12 strokes separated the next four Lopers in Washington junior C.A. Everson (T-26th/227), North Platte sophomore Jordan Arensdorf (T-29th/230), Fremont junior Garret Goldsberry (T-34th/233) and Kansas senior Nathan Gile (47th/239).
