Kearney, Neb. - After a few days off, the Nebraska-Kearney women's soccer team returns to the field Friday evening with a non-conference tilt at the College of St. Mary in Omaha.

The game starts a 5:00 p.m. and will be UNK's (4-2-1, 0-1-1) last non-MIAA contest of the season. On Sunday, the Lopers return to league play with a 12:00 p.m. game at Missouri Southern State (0-5-1, 0-2).

Fans can keep track of the Southern game with live stats.

The Flames, featuring former Loper Caitlin Parra and two UNO transfers, are currently 4-6 and coming off a 7-1 home win over William Penn (Ia.) on Tuesday.

Junior forward Abby Schlater already has tallied 24 points (nine goals & six assists) with freshman forward Christa Manning at 13 points (six goals & an assist). Defensively, two keepers have combined to make 55 saves and post a 2.11 GAA.

The MSSU Lions began the year with a 2-2 tie against Division II member Missouri-St. Louis. Since then, they've dropped five in a row by a combined score of 13-3.

Senior forward Megan Stueve paces the offense as she has taken 21 of the team's 63 shots and scored two of Southern's five goals. A two-keeper system features sophomore Beth Hammons (1.86 GAA, 13 saves).

UNK returns home next weekend to take on Emporia State (Friday) and Washburn (Sunday).
