Box Score Kearney, Neb. – Freshman Becky Roberts scored two goals to help Lindenwood beat Nebraska-Kearney, 4-1, Sunday afternoon in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions improve to 4-3-2 (3-1-1) while UNK falls to 1-7-1 (1-5-0).
Lindewood was outshot 15-9 by the Lopers but managed to score two goals in each half.
Freshman Kristin Brewer scored, on an assist by Roberts, the first one just 1:20 into the game. Roberts got her first goal in the 24th minute with UNK trying to coming back in the second half.
Senior
Kaitlyn Taylor (Millard West), on a pass from freshman
Madalynn Doughty (North Platte), recorded her first career goal at 64:29. However, keeper Lauren Groathouse didn't let another UNK shot get by her as she finished with nine saves, six coming in the final 45 minutes.
In the 85th and 86th minutes, Lindenwood iced things thanks to goals by sophomore Molly White and Roberts.

Montanna Hosterman (Papillion) having four, one being on goal. Off the bench, Taylor had three shots with sophomore
Evie Sintek (Norfolk) taking one.
UNK hosts Central Oklahoma and Northeastern State next weekend.
