Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney tennis teams capped a big week by both defeating Emporia State Saturday afternoon at Harmon Park.
The Loper women
winning in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) to give UNK a 4-3 lead.
Colorado freshman
Justin Nguyen then secured the dual with a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the fifth spot. He is now 13-8; UNK's five other single starters each have 11 or more wins.
The regular season concludes on Monday when the Fort Hays State Tiger women visit Harmon at 3:30 p.m.
