Kearney, Neb. – The 23rd-ranked Nebraska-Kearney men's tennis team flew past William Jewell College,
8-1, Friday afternoon at the Racquet Center of Grand Island.
As usual, the Lopers (6-0) were dominant in doubles, allowing just three total points.
In singles, Colorado junior
Justin Nguyen (No. 3) and Egyptian sophomore
Georges Wakim (No. 5) allowed just one point to their Cardinal opponent. In the second spot, Minnesota sophomore
Joey Richards got past Marc Gartner by a 6-2, 7-6 (4) score.
Kearney is now off until Thursday, March 3rd, when Colorado Mesa comes to Grand Island.
